Marta Trattoria and Bar in Munich

Terrible service. Been there 3 times in person and ordered take out once. All 3 times in person the staff was slow and rude. The take out order was estimated to take 40 minutes but we ended up waiting over 2 hours. When we called to see where our food was the staff was unapologetic. Will never go again :( on top of this its expensive so will not be wasting my money anymore

Super modern and authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of the beautiful Schwabinger Tor. Homemade pasta and specially created Neapolitan pizza are combined with an outstanding antipasti to share offer, such as the Parmigiana (Sicilian aubergine casserole) or the Moscardini (braised baby octopus). Add a fluffy rosemary foccacia and the evening couldn't start better! Not to be forgotten is the large wine list, where lovers of wines from Austria, Italy or Germany can certainly let off steam! You meet audiences from every area, whether it is families with children, the younger generation or the elderly couple who simply want to spend a relaxed evening with good service in a beautiful location like Marta :) If you decide to visit the Marta, you should definitely try to reserve a table, it seems that word quickly got around that this restaurant is worth more than just a visit!

One of our favorite restaurants in Munich. The food is really great! We have already eaten everything from the menu and there is no dish that does not taste good.

Ambience mega! Reception mediocre (snooty as so often in Munich), service at the table then friendly, food OK, but mediocre. I still have to test pizza. The audience today was very pretty, very colorful. Conclusion: recommendable, but not top tip.

Hello everybody, Unfortunately, I can't give the best rating ... either the worm was inside that day or you should just put one more person in service. - We didn't order our drinks until half an hour after we had taken our seats. (For information, you can only sit for 2 hours) - Starter came after 15 min before our drinks (Does not work at all) - Unfortunately, service is really bad ... a shame + but the food was really great

Delicious pasta, pizza and wine! I also really appreciate their service - always friendly and nice. Plus, they are in front of a playground, so it a perfect spot for lunch if you have kids.

I went to dinner with my partner and a couple of our friends and we were unhappy as we ordered and paid for an appetizer for 4 people and instead it was barely for one person; the Pizza is good and the place is nice

The service stands out! All extremely friendly, you feel really good. We just wanted a small lunch snack and shared the truffle pizza. Hammer!!!! When we're back in Munich we'll be back just to eat the truffle pizza :-) Thank you very much

Ambience and food were quite good! In contrast to the restaurant manager (or boss ??) the waiter was very friendly, but had to throw us out more or less after 1 hour 45 minutes. Apparently the next ones would be waiting for the table. There was no line in front of the restaurant. We then emptied half the bottle of water as a matter of urgency. Cozy and hospitable is unfortunately something else!

We were there for the first time today, what can I say - just great !!!! Our waiter and the boss were casual but very accommodating. The food was excellent and the price was absolutely reasonable. We will definitely come back - we enjoyed it as a family.

Good news: simply great ambience and tasteful decor! Great color composition. Just normal friendly staff. Order was accepted quickly. Bad news: food is average. Unfortunately, pasta with truffles doesn't taste like anything. Tatar was too salty. The guests were advised that you can only sit for 2 hours. I'd like to know that if I'm not already sitting at the table and looking at the menu. I would come here again for the ambience, but not for the food.

Great food, the service is incredibly nice. The climate is just great there. I can only recommend it. Well priced for Munich.

The food is very tasty, the service attentive and professional, the atmosphere just great, what more could you want? The prices are perfectly okay as the quality of the restaurant is correspondingly high.

Good food but customer service is really bad

I've lived in Munich for 1.5 years and this was the best pizza since then. 5/5 even if the price is higher. But dirt cheap compared to a € 8 domino pizza!

One of our favorite restaurants since opening day 1! Always great quality, very good and friendly service, great location. Another big plus: the implementation of the COVID-19 hygiene regulations! Tables are disinfected after each guest and even unused place settings are exchanged. Always my pleasure!

The location is really beautiful. Right in the middle and still pleasantly quiet. The service is attentive. The pizza was average, lots of batter! Just don't order a Russian, € 7.50!

We went because it was close to one kindergarten.service is ok. But they have some rules about you could only stay in restaurant in 2 hours made us feel uncomfortable. And it is a bit overpriced. And some confusion reservation system. It’s not bat to try one time. But if I want to eat Italien this restaurant wouldn’t be the choice.

We enjoyed our meal in this restaurant serving Italian specialties. Booking is highly recommended. Very nice to eat in the terrace good Italian food. Some employee can be a little rude in their manner but nothing problematic. Children can have fun in the area next to the restaurant.

I love the atmosphere at Marta! Great service, so lovely professional waiters, great ambience and delicious food! We always like to come back. Clearly our regular Italian!

Marta is probably not your “every day Italian”. It is rather fancy and therefore pricy. But nevertheless, the pizza tastes amazing. Also they serve good starters and a nice wine selection. You should definitely visit Marta for your next Date night! Cheers

Best Pizza in town!

No corona rules are being noticed by the staff. Inside the restaurant none of the staff wore masks. Also there were no contact details taken by them when we were shown to our table. Food was ok, but all in all we felt very uncomfortable.

won't go there again. I love the food & was a regular @Marta's. But what we experienced there was & is unacceptable. The staff doesn’t seem to care about enforcing the rules wearing masks during this time. Customers were shown to their table or walking around without masks. No disinfecting or leaving your contact information, no distance between the tables, no nothing.

So we came to Marta a couple of days ago and I was shocked about them not taking care of the Covid-19 hygiene regulations. No masks were worn from the staff inside the restaurant (not at the bar nor at the pizza oven) and there was no registration before we were seated to keep track of who is coming into the restaurant. I was also really uncomfortable, because I was sitting really close to someone at the back. The food also did not really wow me to be honest. Everything I have had here so far was more average.

Food was good, service was nice too yet, they where passing the salt and pepper between the tables without desinfecting them. I believe this is not ideal, giving the current situation

I have been there several times, we also got pizza during the closing. The food is very good, everything is lovingly made by hand with fine ingredients, and special requests are not a problem. With the exceptionally friendly service, you feel in good hands in the restaurant as well as in the garden.

Delicious food for lunch, big portion ! Limonade and dessert very tasty. Service ok... and menu not too many options, except for the pizza a big variety.

Excellent home made type Italian dishes. Authentic Italian dishes and they are bursting with flavors. They have the best tiramisu EVER. Highly recommended. The place has got style and class. Real nice place to catch up with friends or colleagues or team dinner. Great location and friendly staff.

Food and beverages are really good! Service however has improvement potential: not very attentive, took very long to order and pay, they are not even looking at some customers. Better training, alignment and processes could be helpful. Alternatively, they should hire more service staff to improve speed and attentiveness.
